4-H WEEK

This is the week of our Nobles Co Fair............the time that 4-H kids can shine and show their efforts of the past year. 4-H make the best better.....is a motto you see and not to say that 4-h kids are the best but they sure are a great bunch of kids. Yesterday I heard (again) all the reason why parents don't let their kids do 4-H and I was ready to scream but bit my tongue and remained quiet (I am learning that with age). Not enough time......is a comment that you hear over and over again but then K.'s aunt is visiting from the cities and was talking about 4-H when she was in it and she is..............89.5 years old (that's her in the picture l. took) She has such good memories of 4-H and told of a girl who had not such a good childhood yet could gain confidence thru 4-H. Okay if they had time back then when there was very little convience what is wrong today when we have so much to make life easier. Okay off the band wagon about this. Today will be spent helping the kids wrap up their project.

L. is doing photography and vegetables. In the pictures she is doing a project talk on how to get onions ready for the fair.

E. is doing a shop project that Uncle G. so graciously helped him with. He needs to do the final touches and it should be good to go. Thanx Uncle (again) we all need his patience. Will post more pictures as the week progresses of finish projects and judging. Good luck 4-h'ers
