E. joined 4-H this past school year 5th grade as he wasn't ready to commit to it until now and feared talking to the judge during the fair. I knew he would do fine but also understand the fear of the unknown and doing something the first time. He did okay.........the judge asked him to tell him about the project so that was hard instead of being asked questions. E. showed him the book he did that has pictures of him and Uncle G. making it step by step and also includes the list of material and cost. Tuesday he knew that he got a blue and we were proud of him for that. Thursday when they open the exhibits up to the public we found out that his project was awarded Reserve Champion for his age/project area. Awesome. This project is being set aside for a special boy that we have yet to meet and his siblings that are awaiting his arrival to their family.

So, this brought tears to my eyes. As I sit here, one rolls down my face. How blessed we are to have friends like your family in our life. Although there may be days it's hard to see, your son is amazing.
