IT WAS SO COLD.....

this weekend that even the internet was struggling to work!

I thought about pinning hot soup recipes on
PINTEREST
to warm it up a bit!

But that would have just confused my laptop
 it knows that I am not one to fill my Pin Boards with recipes!
No hypocrisy here....LOL

 Instead I spent time cleaning

MY HAPPY PLACE

and reorganizing it a bit!

I took a picture to recall later that I do have a table top!

 I stayed out of this place for nearly 48 hours,

for nearly 48 hours it stayed tidy,

however losing its whole purpose of being

MY HAPPY PLACE

it wants to be used,

it needs to be needed......

   Well, a spicy girl came to its rescue,

 Monday

 no school do to the frigid temps. 

Not safe for man or beast to be out. 

But late morning a couple girls
 ventured out to the country with their uncle.......

48 hours....I teasingly told the spicy girl

MY HAPPY PLACE 

was left alone tidy,

however the spicy girl is quick to retort

so off we go to do her 2nd sewing project ever.

 The spicy girl had asked a while back to make a cushion or 2...
cushy cute fun ones!

...and she said something about a zipper.

Of course we can have zipper~it will add some sassiness to the project!

Spicy girl is one happy girl

The cushions turned out so 

stinkin' cute

48 hours later

MY HAPPY PLACE

is feeling the love!!!

we like feeling needed & the warm feeling of memories made

~ outside the house it may have been frigid ~
inside we were feeling as toasty as a snowman drinking
