KIDS NOW-A-DAYS

....I was made aware of this word, mindful, at a funeral this week

 

the lady was describe as mindful of others experiences,

she had time for people,

she listened.

 

I can learn from that....

and this...

 

yesterday, 3 teens went to Sioux Falls

(emergency trip, lol)

2 of the teens have started track this week

 therefore want need new track shoes,

 never mind that all winter long we have run in basketball shoes,

they do not work for track,

not even temporarily for practice!

(they are their mother's children! not the running part!!!

 the part when we are needing wanting something,

having it yesterday would be best!)

 

however......

those 3 teens in spite of not much shopping time,

made their first stop in Sioux Falls (their idea)

@ the hospital's ICU,

those frustrating teen .....

are truly special kids

that scrubbed in

to visit a man & his wife

that is fighting terminal cancer....

 

kids now a days.......

....and still a had time for new track shoes!
