Triggered from this recipe of hers, her handwriting...
as I measure, stir and mix, I remember the times when they and others shared their home with me along with letting me cuddle and play with their young'ins. I dreamed of the time when I would have a home and family. Today, I do, and using 'her' recipe. Those couples will probably never know how much their home meant to me as I worked a job and lived an apartment life. Thanks to all that open their home in such a way. It means more than you think to be a part of a family doing the family things.

as I mix and bake, Mom asked for a 'rag' and window cleaner...who for me to stop her from washing the windows??!!!!? Two porch doors done ....
and Mom said..."I can't work like I use to."
