.....had a revelation.
Evan went with Mom and myself to Kansas for Uncle Roland's funeral/visitation. At the visitation alot of hugs and hand shakes were exchanged. After a bit Evan shrugs up close to me and whispers
..." the big hands and feet come from your side of the family!"
meet my Great-grandma Faber, notice those hands....these hands are evident 4 generations later....
....when Laura was born...after announcing she's a girl...the doctors, nurses, family and visitors to come all exclaimed about her
long fingers. Doctor said she would be a piano player. Well not so much a piano player but she can grip a basketball with them!!
Another thing Evan noticed in Kansas besides the signs of spring was how
friendly everyone is....
So glad he came with me...a MEMORY MAKER time.

what an observant child :) what's up with these long fingers and feet - Austin and Brooklyn both have them - grandma sophie used to 'pet' Brooklyn's baby hands and say "oh you are going to play piano some day with those long fingers"...
