we have plenty...to share... Just for the taking...HyVee opens a new store this week...(x-citing) Saturday, the old store shut the door @ 6 pm to move.... produce was on sale....prices cut....some alot.... the produce farmer aka Kerry here checked the sale out..... we now have carrots.... alot of them.... Why so many? Cheap! (this usually explains the reasoning only he understands)
But no one really likes them....that much ?!

I say Aunt June's carrot cake and she can take the cream cheese frosting off if she don't like it! ;) I think our husbands could be related - they know how to turn a buck too!
If I was there I would make you all a yummy yummy carrot cake...my fave!!!!!
Very funny! I have used my carrots from the garden all winter by thinly slicing and freezing them in one layer on a cookie sheet then putting them in gallon bags after they were frozen. Great in soups and chopped up in breads... I'm sure it would work for carrot cake, too!
