OUT OF MY....

....comfort zone. Our 4H club meets about every 6 weeks, this time we had an Appetizer competition, the kids voted for this over pies, hot dishes, cookies and so forth. Well my idea of an appetizer is some dip from the dairy product section of the grocery store and a bag of chips or carrot sticks. Waiting until the very last I frantically search the cookbooks and Internet for a few ideas...the one repeatedly seen was a Spinach Dip....daughter quick to pull up her nose but the ingredients were simple and easily available.....

I am probably the only 4o something person to NOT have made this before but..... not in my comfort zone....it is delicious.

....the Spinach Dip and Jalapeno Pizza Poppers!!!! Surprised, but mostly thrilled with the set of bowls as the prize....Laura wants to claim them, ha ha...where was she when we had to find the recipe and make it??? moreover she would not even taste it!!! The boys love it!

One of our very favorite appetizer was Peanut Butter Chicken Bites....kinda sounds weird but delicious....waiting for the recipe of that....typically used for kabobs and is grilled.
