A thrift store had this gadget .... I had not seen one of these before but didn't take much to figure it is a ....
cherry pitter.... and cuz it is rusty, old and has green handle..it came home with me....and my mind went to the old food grinder & my favorite blog.
....with a little oil & cleaning wanting to try it immediately but cherries are out of season, (kind of the pits) none to be found in the stores at any price .... me being impatient resorted to getting out a jar of canned
sweet cherries to tried the gadget~it works like a charm!!
.and not to be defeated in the off season, the cherry pitter will abide in my craft area.

That's the pits BBS, no FRESH cherries in November ... what are people thinking!!! But what a cute idea ... a pin holder. Now get busy and creat something!!!
