INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND

July 2...a fun evening of softball and visiting.
July 3, worked at home and crew weeded then.... a man we know, birthday is July 3 and to celebrates he alway invited friends and family over for a cookout and ends the evening with a fire and fireworks for the kids...Happy Birthday Tom...guess I didn't get people pictures but his acreage is something else...3-4 years ago it was just a place with trees and a stream now it has a house, 2 ponds, a few buildings, that are all moved in from elsewhere. It is a very relaxing off the beaten path place. The house a few years back was moved out of town to this acreage, Tom had one time said if he could get a house for a dollar he would move it onto this land, low and behold that happened!!! It is a big old three story house that is amazing, Tom has done a ton of work on it with alot more but it is coming and he is a bachelor so....maybe not alot of pressure to have completed as quickly if a women was involved. He 3 kids that spend the summer with him so has some critters for them to enjoy while in the country...It was a fun night to see his place and Tom's hard work. ...fireworks....the kids all had a blast (no pun intended!!)
Sunday the 4th,
dinner at the in-laws. Supper & evening with friends, look what their two kids found, baby bunnies, Georgia, Lucky and don't remember the third name now but 2 days later one is still alive (Lucky), two are victims of their dog!
~ to complete the day with fireworks with almost front row seats. Beautiful as always.
Monday, July 5th My water hyacinth bloomed!!! ....and a closure to the long weekend a beautiful rainbow..
WISH ALL A WONDERFUL REST OF SUMMER

Keisha wanted me to let you know that the name of the 3rd bunnie was "Wonderer"! Unfortunately, "Lucky" is missing too now! :(
Thanks again for coming; it was a blast! :)
