Dieffenbachia

This plant is the one thing I asked for when we moved some of the things from the farm....it has history. Many starts have come from this plant including to my house but I seem to have killed mine...so this plant will remain in the house.....alot of my plants will get moved to the porch and then the door does not get shut properly and..........they freeze....The original plant came from Marysville, Kansas when my brother met this lady from there and..........anyway that was thirty some years ago. My SIL's mother had hers in the corner of the living room and we were amazed that thing reached the ceiling...so mom got her start there and the rest is history....I did purchase a new pot for it as my mom has it in an old red plastic bucket....just set the whole works in the new pot, will not try to repot it, as it does like the red bucket!!! (it has a new leaf....not any dead ones!!)

I, too, have this plant. I received mine from Lynda Pearson in 1993 when I left home. I have kept it alive and healthy through four moves and three kids!! It is amazing how much even a plant can come to mean.
