SIOUX FALLS AIRSHOW

Okay, E. loves planes and Sx Falls has an airshow this wkend....free, what can get better that this. E. willingly did chores Friday with a good attitude so that we could take the day off. I. of course chose to stay home with dad to work.....those two are so much alike ;-0 We had a week of more normal dry weather so irrigation is needed and fertilizing as the plants desparately need it. Therefore everyone was content with thier lot today.
Okay, we get to Sx Falls and make a couple stops and L. arranged to meet with her friends by a certain sign at the air show........no problem...........I drop them off and told them I would call thier friends cell phone after I ran to Menards to get a couple things. One hour later I am walking onto the airport grounds and my phone rings.........."where are you"............that is pretty neat L. friends are wanting me with so I head to where they said they were (bomber plane) I don't know one plane from another...........is it gray...........yep..............there is only at least five gray planes and this place is crawling like ants on sugar. Finally N. & T. come up to me but...............no L. & E. They have not seem them. My heart sunk............what are they wearing, are they as miserable as I am not knowing where they are? I have the cell phone.................I see others that we know but not them....if you see them have her call..............finally my phone rings ..............where you..............by the cotton candy...........they ran into a school friend and used her phone. This seemed like an eternity to us all...........I was ready to go home but...........we watched what was left and looked at planes. L. spent time with her friends. When we walked out we over heard a airforce guy that was directing say something about 80,000 people leaving at once and here and there I decided I did not need to ever do this again.............how in the world would I ever found them without the cell. Next time they will suffer going go Menards with me. It so much better to be together miserable than being lost to one another. Understand our town is maybe 793 people and our fair is a small event so this is what us country folk unconsciously were thinking when we set out for this event.
