Mom (& dad) always look forward to mail time....
it was such a big big big part off their day.
Letters, local news, crossword puzzles....
the newspapers were look through,
folded every which way until the next day's edition came.
For the past nearly 5 years,
I knew when mom had read the obituary column in the
Sioux City Journal
that someone she knew had died,
when my phone would ring in the morning.
"so & so died, the funeral is ______. I sure would like to go."
We went to a lot of funerals ......
Tuesday Morning. our caller ID indicated CVM calling,
not unusual lately but not what I expected either,
they need to let us know any changes or incidentals
no matter how minor,
Brenda, RN started the conversation the very same but....
this one ended so different,
God's timing is evident and so perfect.
We are fitting in.....
to
HIS BEAUTIFUL PLAN
definitely different than the plans
we had in mind for this week.
His plans are so much better than ours.....
Country View Manor
leaves this on the bed,
much like what was left for us after dad.
A very special/quiet/respectful touch....
With love,
the daughter

Just beautiful, Janna! She was legend and we will miss her smile. We will be in Springfield Saturday so will not be at the service in body but will be there in spirit for sure.
This was really special. Will think of you all gathered soon.
