lambed!!!!
Isaac bought a few ewes that the seller was unsure when they were "exposed" and the ultra sound gave a due date of 3 weeks ago...........
so the anticipation was at an all time high, 3 weeks ago.
When its you first time to lamb,
you are 13,
and you have wanted this for a few years!!!
and then it doesn't happen day after day!
finally
Yesterday, just after lunch, there was 3 wobbly-leg lambs,
the owner was in school!
Whats a mom to do???
but email his teacher a picture and call,
knowing (hoping?) Ike was in studyhall!!
Yep, you can get away with this when its a small school,
somewhat farm oriented,
the teacher is your neighbor,
and she kinda likes/understands your kid!!!!
Therefore,
Ike
got to know very soon after the birth
and not wait til school was over.....
Just because he has to go to school,
Ike is a farmer for real!
I know, i know....
it just lambs,
this is not the first pictures of lambs,
nor the first set of triplets ever,
but
its our son's first lambs,
and we are thrilled for him!!!

Thanks for sharing! Glad Ike is enjoying his lambs. I remember bottle feeding lambs with glass pop bottles! Fun!

oh the fun that will be a coming!!!
How cute! I remember watching a calf be born at the Watertown farm show being about the neatest experience ever when I was about 12...
Congratulations Farmer Isaac!!! Proud papa of triplets, no less!!! Your cousin-in-law Jodi had lambs, too. She never had triplets but she did have twins. It was very exciting! Lambs are such sweet little creatures. Enjoy them to the max ... they don't stay little very long!
