Hard to shake it off........
~a family is planning a funeral.
Twice now I have had a tearful daughter call from a place in South Dakota on a Saturday afternoon,
First time was 2 years a go when her cousin called to say that 'her' cousin was killed by a drunk driver...forever 15.
This year, cousin's from the other side of the family have lost their cousin to a accident...forever 25.
We did have a bit of time with our kids and a couple nieces this weekend....
we are learning to treasure this and not taking these times for granted.
Our kids are growing up fast but still need us (a bit?)??
There are parents that have lost this "time".

Heavy hearts. There are many times that I regret family being so spread and little time spent together. But those times are so treasured and memories will live on forever.
:( Heavy hearts, but yet thankful! Only through Christ can death be beautiful...
