NFL injury!!!

9 days...after injury our girl's foot is still  swollen and painful. Out of the pain RX that works so back to the Dr. we go for more. Well this Dr....compared her injury to what NFL players get!!!! No wonder she hurts!!!

 

9 days ago kids were boating and tubing,

the rope slacked and Laura fell off,

the driver thinking she was under the tube pulled the boat away to come back to get her

BUT....

she was wrapped in the rope there fore her ankle got a huge tug

the rest of the story is....

few hours in ER on a Saturday night,

show no broken bones but a sprang

many hours/days of elevating, icing, crutches,

we are not getting better,

Long story short....broken bones heal faster and less painful,

Laura has grade 3 sprang....

(worst that 3 different doctors have seen)

so weeks of healing ahead

BUT!!!!

she has a

NFL like injury,

and she has always wanted to use crutches,

thought it would be neat to use those electric w/c that stores offer,

hmmmm.....be careful what you wish for!

ain't that neat

 after all!

 

BUT...

the public is has been overwhelmingly kind

to her and her infirmity.

And you appreciate the struggles of those with permanent disabilities...
