....we finally got substantial amount of moisture.
April shower~ normal and to be expected,
however the freezing temperatures in April caused treacherous situations,

stay off the roads,
no travelling,
downed power lines (everywhere).
Schools 2 hours late...NO wait, school canceled~ 3 days in a row.
The moral
of the past days,
"...it pays to be flexible."
This not my photo however this line of people have been our hero's this past week. They and their equipment came in convoys to the tri-state area to restore power and will be here for a long time to come. Power lines and pole down everywhere.
