THIS IS MY..........

HAPPY PLACE.....
the island is a dropleaf' table on blocks to raise to counter height, we can double size when needed! Sewing center an old bookcase and a piece of 3/4inch plywood covered with old pattern pieces, then many many coats of poly.

Kerry's grandma's canning jar cupboard (and art work!) now storage for misc. stuff...an old picture frame (free) painted and cut in half.....then frames a chalkboard painted area.
Platform rocker much like what my grandma sat in for $3, a footstool from Savers for
my first reupholstering project (and last?!) graced by the mustard yellow mirror from a thrift store for $7 that had been gold! So classy sassy now!

old light from Habitat for Humanity....
(many hours trying to figure out how to take apart & GLAMORed-UP)

scrapbook and CRICUTing area

old crib spring, canning jars w/ many, many years of school supplies sorted to colors....Laura's doing

the chair..........so comfy & WHIMSICAL
Pots & pan rack from Savers....an originally black Ikea product...cutting & mat rack NOW

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
weird I know, pix of the electrical work!! But just in case I would need to rewire myself....a picture to remember how! HOWEVER....two guys came one morning & put in 9, nine, yes, 8+1 more outlets and sheet rocked and mudded in a new ceiling....
sigh, HAPPINESS
 in the midst of it....school projects & creation must go forth!
the beginning of it all.........(click here) in the past!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, can I say it again? LOVE the chair and footstool. I'd pick that fabric for my house in a second.
