The last few days we have gotten a speckled egg amongst our gatherings.

I soon realized, would be the one laying on the floor.
Last April Ike & I purchased these little birds...
two of the chicks grew the same feather pattern & size and one grew less colorful feather so thinking that one would be the female, the other 2 toms. Sadly, one day Tillie was found laying lifeless. We mourned the fact we lost the female but went on to enjoy Tom I & Tom II.

They are gentle fellows with a content chirp....

today they look nearly the same.....

Cute! I know I have one girl here that would love to have a chicken coop full of chickens AND eggs. And there are a few of us that would enjoy EATING those eggs!
