~and can you believe it? My waterbath canner sprung a leak...
so had to shop for a different one, in the past mine was grandma's canner so would be safe to say it did its time!

...and to grab a quart or two of tomatoes in the winter is almost a good as going to the patch to pick the tomato!

I loved canning tomatoes with my grandma! Nothing like smelling the house while they were cooking away! However, ill easily pass up the raw kind from the garden! If it has skin, seeds, and isnt coming out of a can pureed i want nothing to do with it! Lol!!!
