yesterday Laura phoned from school, wondering if she could bring the
little TURKEYS to school
so today....
off they go,
for FFA's animal show
being the first time for turkey chicks to be apart of
FFA's animal show
Laura's advisor asked what they looked like...
You Go Girl!...
she is wanting to be involve with the
FFA SHOW
just do not ask her anything about them.....
they are Ike's babies...
Laura is just sharing!
Gotta love that girl...and her spunk!
Next week FFA goes to STATE for FFA competition,
Laura is a part of a team that is competing in area that includes
WELDING
(laura's strength)
TILING
(common sense according to Laura)
ELECTRICAL
(advisor assures Laura she will do just fine!)
SMALL MOTORS
(a semester of studing/working w/ small engines hopefully will help Laura with this part of the competition!)
FUTURE FARMER'S of AMERICA
good luck at state

Go, Laura! The only thing I took in school (and ONLY b/c I HAD to take it) was welding. The rest.....is all Greek to me!
Good luck!!
They are very cute. I don't know that I have ever seen baby turkeys. In fact, most of the turkeys I've seen have already been basted. :P
