PRESIDENT'S DAY

we were told to expect the

its a holiday, a Federal holiday,

no mail on a Federal holiday, right?

So,

I got to thinking days ago that the chicks will come the next day,

Tuesday the 21st

right?

but

Sunday the19th, early AM an automated phone call comes,

the chicks are being sent

hmmmm, its Sunday the 19th,

tomorrow is a holiday

and the call was automated

so the chicks will be probably Tuesday,

right

?

Wrong, very wrong

6:15AM

the 20th President's Day

a call comes, and Ms. So&so that brings mail to the BrewsterPO

says that she is hearing baby chicks in her mail,

could someone please meet her since there is no mail delivery today,

its President's Day!

so...

..this little guy scurries around like an expectant father,

going more in circles than anywhere else,

Kerry tells him to go start a vehicle,

Ike is quick to say we are gonna need a pick-up

because the chicks are not gonna fit in the Yukon!

I laughed,

poor Ike in his excitement forgets,

the 26 chicks he is getting

is not 26 chickens !!

and they will be just in a small box!!

No need for a pick-up truck box!
