Sunday brought some heart wrenching news.......
....the first was a lady I knew when I was very young adult, her family was young with a new baby......forward many years she visited in our area to be with a niece and family, we met again. Her a life ended unexpectedly Saturday evening. A beautiful end although those left behind would have loved to have her for a while longer - not our choice to make though.
Last night our daughter sobbing as she told us about a 16 year old that once was a favorite playmate of hers. This young man is actually our kid's cousin's cousin.....often time these kids spent hours playing house together when they were little kids. Laura said her and Zach were gonna get married one day-love the innocents of that time of their childhood. Well, life and circumstance have made it such that these kids and family went their own ways but.....the memories of those carefree days flooded back to Laura this weekend........Friday evening, this 16 year old was struck by a man that ran a stop sign while intoxicated....Zach and his brother were walking. Unnecessary death because someone choice to drink and then drive........now this 16 year old does not get to grow up, his younger brother will forever not have a sibling....and the experience etched in his mind of this horrific accident.
Our hearts hurt.....for those that are much closer to these two....

Our Sympathy
Heavy hearts...what a great way to put it. We will forever miss Lyn -often she felt like another mother to me. What a faithful example to follow....
Words fail, but heartfelt sympathy to all...
