Grandma deBoer's diary...
...entry of Dad's birth:
1947...a piece of Grandpa & Grandma deBoer's heart left them for America on the ship this day ....
my uncle died last fall and had been living in the deBoer family home, 
the family there is now going through a century plus of history...special the family there remembers Gerrit's family here...wanted to document this in my blog....thanks Syd for posting this email.
