WINTER'S WOES

whatta winter.... he doesn't want to let go... it sure could be worse but... Mr. Winter could leave too... Our 16 years, 4 month old daughter has learned a lot about winter driving. The brothers keep her honest.... this isn't the first time.... of slidin' about.... but.... this time its at the end of the drive and..... no getting out without a pull!! NO worries.... Laura just left the truck to take a nap.... no loosing sleep over the little things! Isaac & I get home from piano lessons to see the pickup, stuck.... really, really stuck!! Isaac just gets the tractor, chain and... as he hooks up the chain, he tells me where it needs be pulled from.... explaining to me why not to hook it elsewhere... and the consquences if hooked up wrong... This momma worries a lot about him running farm equipment but guess he is learning/practicing farm safety ....... and the practical things of rural life. Living in small time America, there are few secrets, here g'pa coming down the drive and... ...after Bible study, poor Laura had to endure good nature teasing.... it seems it was the news FLASH! Not much for excitement in our neck of the country when the talk is the weather, road conditions and who slid in the ditch, the wheres and the whys....
