Please do not judge our excitement.....we are small town America, most of us being pretty close to our roots.... new is exciting and this store is amazing...look, even CookieMonster came to checked it out!
Everyone buys groceries, really I am just a basic kinda girl so doesn't really matter too much to me where I shop except prices and convenience do matter. Laura likes HyVee as many of her school mates work there and her being a social bug can make running in for something last a long while!...she wants to work there too but she has a job...working for us...so the area grocery stores can have fresh produce from our farm late summer/fall,

My family likes HyVee, this store (the old one) was the first to buy our produce many, many years ago!...with the sales & profit from our FARM FRESH PRODUCE...they built a brand new store that has everything (but not decent melons right now!!!) just kidding...we do appreciate their support though!

I understand your excitement. A new Hy-Vee opened here in January. I was told that it is their largest Hy-Vee yet. (Not that we're competing or anything! )Even has a Caribou coffee shop inside,much to my delights!
No cookie monster in our store though, just Wisconsin cheese guys with cheese samples during grand opening week.

Hey---new grocery stores are very exciting!! I am waiting for the day that we get a super walmart....at the very least. =-)
