THE TABLE

.....of Thanksgiving.

Set so pretty, with napkins folded & placecards set.

The food prepared & served so appealing.

The host & hostess have prepared for friends & family,

and then some of their family,

and then the family's family but all are

warmly welcomed....

isn't that what thanksgiving is really about???

We thank those who are so

hospitable & welcoming,

so they would not be alone on the day we give thanks for the bounty of our land.

......the chairs are pushed back and comfy seats are found and the food begins to settle. It is always so good......Thanksgiving and its traditional food has to be the BEST.

...the tables soon are spread with a game board or two,

the chairs are filled once again with good natured competition!

~a few of the guests (aka family) hangs around until the host & hostess sweetly offer to reheat the left-overs. OOPS, how rude! The table once again is laden with food, the eating (that never really ceased) began again.
