Hailed again this week.....pea size with alot of rain in 15 minutes. We were not home but there is definite damage to the melons. Two days ago the damaged melon were picked off the vine so maybe the plants will reflower and set again. These melons should have been picked in a couple weeks for selling but anywhere there was hail damage it will rot. It is very discouraging to see those melons lay in the drive strip. We have been adjusted for 98% loss. That doesn't help supply our stores and the kids farmer's market.
